 The Hot House ComboWebsite We are delighted that The Hot House Combo will be returning to the Country Soul in November. Inspired by the great musicians of the 1920s through to the 1940’s the Hot House Combo have created a unique musical vision. Formed in 2019 the band emerged from their previous incarnation the very wonderful The Hot House Four. The band are fronted by husband and wife Willy (Vocals/guitar/harmonica/kazoo) and Lisa Briggs (Vocals/accordion/washboard/double bass) whose Facebook “Lockdown Lounge Sessions” were warmly received and appreciated during the height of the pandemic by all on Facebook land. Mr Tim Heming (Double bass/clarinet) and Carl Woodison (Trumpet) complete this cool quartet bringing you the jazzier sounds of the pre-war and early post war years. Don’t miss them. |
 Half Way HouseWebsite We are pleased to announce that Half Way House will be making their Country Soul debut in November. Half Way House are an eclectic trio that performs tunes with a jazz and old-time blues feeling. Featuring Louisa Jones (Whiskey Moon Face)on piano & vocal, Joplin Parnell (The Cable Street Rag Band) also featured on piano and ace violinist Piotr Jordan. Come and see these wonderful musicians do what they do. |
