 Laura B and Her BandWebsite The Country Soul Sessions are delighted that the UK’s foremost authentic recording Rhythm & Blues artist Laura B and her all-star band will be playing for us at our CSS December ’Special'. Laura B’s powerful vocal style is inspired by R&B singing legends such as Ruth Brown, Big Maybelle, LaVern Baker and Etta James. Yes Laura B ‘rocks' and yes 'she rolls' but she is more than ably backed by a fantastic seven-piece outfit that includes some of the finest R&B musicians in the UK and Europe.To date Laura B and her band have recorded three long players culminating in their latest release ‘Just A Little Love’ (Shack Records) in 2020. Having played at major events and festivals in the UK and all over Europe this is a great opportunity to see this amazing outfit perform within an intimate club environment. Don’t miss them! |
 BamboozleWebsite We are so pleased that Bamboozle will be returning to the Country Soul Sessions at our December ’Special'. Formed in Canterbury in 2016 and known for their high energy performances, Bamboozle seamlessly combine the cool vibe of the swinging 1950’s with a modern twist. The band fronted by talented singer/bassist/songwriter Serene Sykes also comprises of internationally renowned singer/guitarist Jim Knowler and ace drummer/vocalist Jacqueline ‘Jax' Titmus. Bamboozle released their debut long player 'Retrograde’ in 2019 and have since been taking the musical world by storm with their mix of original tunes and classy covers. |
