 Rhythm River TrioWebsite We are delighted that The Rhythm River Trio will be returning to the Country Soul. Formed in 2009 the Rhythm River Trio take their inspiration from classic acts such as Webb Pierce, Ray Price and the Hillbilly Shakespeare himself Hank Williams. This band play an energetic mix of Country and Rockabilly in a classic trio format. Expect to hear original tunes interspersed with more obscure covers. Led by vocalist/guitarist David Short with Graham Murphy on lead guitar and Mr Bruno Pannone on the double bass this band are just simply a class act. Don’t miss them. |
 Hayride WranglersWebsite The Country Soul Sessions are thrilled that the Hayride Wranglers will be making their CSS debut. This relatively new three-piece outfit play a stripped back Country & Hillybilly groove with a set that includes original numbers and covers by artist such as Johnny Cash, Bakerfield’s Buck Owens, BR5-69 and Dale Watson. Based in Essex the original intention and motto of this wonderful trio was to be simply ‘Local Hicks for Local Gigs’ but we are so pleased that they will be leaving the boundaries of Essex to come and play for us in Soho. Fronted by Frankie Riedel vocals/guitar, Zack Godden on lead guitar and Mr 'Big T’ on the double bass this classy trio are worthy of anyone’s attention. |
