 The Doel BrothersWebsite We are extremely proud that El Toro recording artists The Doel Brothers will be returning to the Country Soul. The Doel Brothers are a 5 piece rockabilly/hillbilly band formed by three brothers Tommy, Gordon & David with honouree Doel Brothers Mr Gary Boller and Mr Phil Morgan making up this fantastic quintet. With their stripped down country style honky-tonk hillbilly bop full of harmony & melody this band have a wonderful musical chemistry with flashing touches of the 'Louvins' & 'Johnny Cash' but yet all done in a fresh and very hip Doel Brothers way. |
 The Delta JacksWebsite We are delighted that The Delta Jacks will once again be playing for us at the CSS. A roots-rock and country quartet that emerged from the Thames Delta in 2011 the band is comprised of Greg Beager bass/keyboard/vocals, Ryan Bradshaw lead vocals/guitar/harmonica and Trevor Reeves guitar/banjo/mandolin/vocals and Eddie Strain drums. After travelling through the UK Americana music scene, they released their debut LP 'Trouble Ahead' in 2016 to fine reviews and in 2019 they released their fine ‘Hangman’s Noose” EP with it’s tale of a Wild-West Bonnie and Clyde scenario. Expect to hear flashes of Johnny Cash, Hank Williams, Hank III, Slim Cessna’s Auto Club and the Violent Femmes. |
