Lynette and the boys have been playing together for 20 years blending a creative mix of old time country, western swing and cowboy songs to produce an authentic sound driven by their passion for the genre. Fronted by the immensely talented Lynette Morgan vocals and guitar the Blackwater Valley Boys contain some of the hottest and accomplished musos around with Gary Boller on bass, Willy Briggs guitar, steel & vocals, Pat Reyford on guitar & vocals and Chris Haigh on fiddle. If you like your ‘music’ (as this band can play anything) swinging style with twin guitars, steel guitars & sweet vocal harmonies' then come and see this legendary outfit live and in person at the Country Soul. |
 The Sundown BoysWebsite We are thrilled to welcome The Sundown Boys as they make their debut at the Country Soul. Carrying the torch of authentic sounding rockabilly to the next generation of fans, The Sundown Boys play a music that is exciting and new as when you first heard some of that early primitive rock n roll. Their new 45’ on their own “Sundown Records” contains two self penned originals 'I'm getting wise/Fugitive’ that show the boys have one foot in the past and the other foot very much in the now. Featuring Mr Dan Morley on rhythm guitar/vocals, Scott Brown lead guitar & Danny Brown on double bass this is an emerging rockabilly trio that is making waves.  Lovesick DuoWebsite The very wonderful Lovesick Duo will be making their debut at the March Country Soul Sessions. A vibrant pairing from Italy Paolo Roberto Pianzza (vocals & guitar) and Francesca Alinovi (double bass) aka the Lovesick Duo have immersed themselves in the classic sounds of the 40s and 50s touching on the great country and rock n’ roll themes of love and betrayal whilst having unbridled fun in the process. The duo have released countless LPs and singles and played numerous concerts throughout Europe and across the Atlantic in the US and suffice to say we are delighted that they will be playing for us at the Country Soul. |
