About The Artists |
Laura B and Her Band Website The Country Soul Sessions are delighted that the UK’s foremost authentic recording Rhythm & Blues artist Laura B and her all-star band will be playing for us at our CSS December ’Special'. Laura B’s powerful vocal style is inspired by R&B singing legends such as Ruth Brown, Big Maybelle, LaVern Baker and Etta James. Yes Laura B ‘rocks' and yes 'she rolls' but she is more than ably backed by a fantastic seven-piece outfit that includes some of the finest R&B musicians in the UK and Europe. To date Laura B and her band have recorded three long players culminating in their latest release ‘Just A Little Love’ (Shack Records) in 2020. Having played at major events and festivals in the UK and all over Europe this is a great opportunity to see this amazing outfit perform within an intimate club environment. Don’t miss them! |
