About The Artists
Sarah Vista

Website

It’s our pleasure to welcome back the outlaw songstress and 2020 Ameripolitan winner Sarah Vista to the Country Soul Sessions. Strutting through a Morricone-esque Spaghetti Western landscape that even the most righteous western aficionado would approve Sarah Vista has always followed her own trail with her fully loaded, tall tales of revenge and retribution. Her latest offering “Songs From The Silver Screen” (2020) was a download only release which saw 'Gallow Romantic' artist Vista cover western themed tunes as varied as ’Streets Of Laredo’, ‘High Noon’, 'Wanderin’ Star’ and other cinematic classics. For this ‘songwriters special’ Sarah will be accompanied by Becky Bullet on trumpet and twangy guitar guru Jeff Mead. Don’t miss her..

Rossella Scarlet & The Cold Cold Hearts

Website

We are delighted that Rossella Scarlet & The Cold Cold Hearts will be returning to the Sessions. Rossella Scarlet and her Cold Cold Hearts have the Honkytonk fever running way on high playing tunes by the likes of Hank Williams and Lefty Frizzell. Far from being simply a covers band expect to hear some fine self-penned tunes in particular from their much anticipated forthcoming debut EP 'The Day Will Come'. Don't miss Rossella and her class band, comprising of pedal steel guru Phil Morgan, double bass to the stars Emma Goss and guitarist Graham Murphy. Simply put there is nothing Cold Cold Heartish about this outfit.....it's Country music with much soul.

The XXX (Moonshine) Hustlers

Website

The Country Soul are more than pleased that Frankie Riedel will be appearing with his new outfit The XXX (Moonshine) Hustlers. A new outfit but familiar faces playing a fine mix of Ernest Tubb, Hawkshaw Hawkins, Lefty Frizzell and more contemporary artist such as Wayne 'The Train Hancock' and Chris Issak. There will be some self-penned tunes also which of course is a prerequisite to be playing at the Country Soul. We have been told that the band are proud to be debuting at the Country Soul and for the record, let it be known, we're proud to have them.
